Dit is hout dat door de eeuwen heen is getransformeerd tot opaal.
Dit geopaliseerd hout is echt een wonder van moeder natuur, soms herken je nog een houtstructuur maar ook het typisch kleurenspel van opaal zie je er in. Deze houtopalen doen mij denken aan een nachtelijk midzomernacht tafereel.
Deze oorhangers zijn werkelijk uniek en er bestaat slechts één exemplaar van!

Opalised wood is really a very special stone.
This is wood that has been transformed into opal over the centuries.
This opalised wood is really a miracle of mother nature, sometimes you can still recognise a wood structure but you can also see the typical play of colours of opal in it. These wood opals remind me of a nocturnal midsummer night scene.
These earrings are truly unique and I have only one pair of them!
