Vlinders staan gekend om hun schoonheid en hun prachtige kleuren. Ik hou ervan om juwelen te maken geïnspireerd op de natuur maar dan gestileerd, zodat enkel de zuivere vorm overblijft. Voor deze exquise oorjuwelen koos ik om de vleugels te maken in mat 18 kt geel goud, afgewerkt met natuurlijke diamanten, het ene vleugeltje bevat olijfgroene diamant, de andere woudgroene diamant. Barok groene Tahitiparels maken het geheel af.

De vlinder is niet enkel een universeel thema van schoonheid en metamorfose, maar is ook het symbool van eeuwige liefde.

De kleuren van Tahiti parels kunnen variëren van diep zwart, grijs en wit tot zeldzaam pistachio groen.
Net als Zuidzeeparels zijn Tahiti parels zoutwaterparels en zijn ze over het algemeen groter dan traditionele Chinese zoetwaterparels. Er wordt slechts één parel per mossel gekweekt.
Tahiti parels worden geproduceerd in de kustgebieden rond de Frans-Polynesische eilanden en niet in Tahiti zoals de naam doet vermoeden.

Unique and exclusive ear jewellery

Butterflies are known for their beauty and their wonderful colours. I love to create jewellery inspired by nature but stylised so that only the pure form remains. For these exquisite ear jewels, I chose to make the wings in mat 18ct yellow gold finished with natural diamonds, one wing contains olive green diamonds and the other forest green diamonds. Baroque green Tahitian pearls finishes the jewel.

The butterfly is not only a universal theme of beauty and metamorphosis, but also the symbol of eternal love.

The colours of Tahitian pearls can vary from deep black, grey and white to rare pistachio green.
Like South Sea pearls, Tahitian pearls are saltwater pearls and are generally larger than traditional Chinese freshwater pearls. Only one pearl is cultured per mussel.
Tahiti pearls are produced in the coastal areas around the French Polynesian Islands and not in Tahiti as the name suggests.
